Homestay Direct Pty Ltd incorporating Student Services Direct was incepted in May 2006 with a handful of international students seeking homestay placements with Melbourne families. Only 2.5 years later the business boasts over 1500 students currently residing in quality, secure, nurturing homestay placements all over Australia!
Some time ago the business diversified to provide value add services including "comprehensive study tours" and "western world internship" opportunities for overseas students seeking to build their life skills, develop their English and embark on valuable work place experiences either as a prerequisite to their University studies or to provide them with an edge when embarking on employment in their professional careers.
With increasing demand and our passion to assist candidates realize their dreams, more recently the business has expanded to include a suite of "coaching & career facilitation" programs for qualified candidates LOCALLY, who are finding it difficult to secure jobs in their field or a job at all! We provide every candidate with a personalized, unique and comprehensive service to assist facilitate that "lucky break" to present a potential employer with all they have to offer for a win win outcome! Only yesterday, Rizwan (a 31yo Graduate Accountant) who had lost faith after 12 months of unsuccessful job seeking, with our assistance, secured his first job. He was overwhelmed with excitement and rang me several times to confirm it was true!
We thoroughly enjoy partnering people, initiating and fostering global relationships. Our numerous success stories are immensely gratifying.

Pauline Borch is the Director of Homestay Direct Pty Ltd incorporating Student Services Direct.
Pauline began the business to offer international students a secure and happy study environment during their stay in Australia whilst away from their loved ones.
With a Diploma in Human Resources, Pauline has many years of experience in the Corporate and Educational Industries. Pauline offers a wealth of experience in understanding people and what they want.
Pauline is a member of the Australian Institute of Management (AMI). She is also a member of the Australian Human Resource Institute (AHRI). Pauline is also a Co-Director of Borch Leeman providing coaching and career facilitation services to international and local candidates.

Tracey Erman is a Co-Director of Borch Leeman.
Tracey’s business relationship with Pauline culminated from the engagement of her services to manage the Internship division of Student Services Direct catering to international students.
Tracey brings a wealth of marketing and business development from years of experience with big corporations and in private business. She also has extensive Human Resources knowledge with ”hands-on“ coaching training and has an innate passion for developing and assisting others.

Lyn Gao is the Receptionist and Business Administrator across all facets of the business.
Lyn is renowned for her warm disposition, obliging nature and big smiles! Lyn can speak fluent Mandarin and is a welcome face for many of our international students.
